Samuel “Earth” Maxwell

Samuel "Earth" Maxwell is a talented artist who has worn many hats throughout his career.  He rose to prominence as an illustrator/penciler for the highly popular "Sonic The Hedgehog" comic book series while working for Archie Comics.  His artistic talent was recognized early on, and he even received all three of The School Art League's accolades.  While at Archie, Earth also contributed to other titles and his work was praised for being striking and unique.
Earth eventually took a break from comics to raise a family and explore his musical talents.  He found success as a reggae music producer and keyboardist, even working with Bob Marley's lead guitarist.  However, a commissioned work for a reggae artist brought him back to the visual arts.  This reignited his passion, and Earth is now teaching illustration classes and collaborating on an independent comic book.  He also enjoys attending comic-cons and connecting with fans, including fellow artists who admire his impressive work.
